    I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me, even if he die, shall live; and whoever lives and believes in Me shall not die forever.

Psalm 121:1-8

    I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
    My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
    He will not suffer thy foot to be removed: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
    Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
    The Lord is thy keeper; the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
    The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
    The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.
    The Lord shall preserve thy coming in, from this time forth and even for evermore.

    I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
    Then someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!"
    "Gone where?"
    Gone from sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
    Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!"
    And that is dying.

I'M FREE
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, yes, these things I too shall miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow;
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me;
God wanted me now; He set me free.

When through one
woman a little more
love and goodness,
a little more light
and truth come
into the world-
then that woman's
life has had meaning.

(Male)

When through one
man a little more
love and goodness,
a little more light
and truth come
into the world-
then that man's
life has had meaning.
